Monday, December 31, 2012 New Year Celebration – 2013

31st December 2012, Monday came out to be an exciting and fun filled day for the BTPL family. Everyone was enthusiastic to welcome the New Year 2013 with celebrations, fun and party like it always happens in the company. All the employees were keen to celebrate and party with each other and unwind themselves after a year of hard work and dedication.

“Work Hard and Party Harder” has always been our motto and this is the reason that organizing committee decided to make this event a day worth remembering. The party started at 3:00PM and continued till 9:00PM at night.

The mentors and leaders of the organization Mr. Shri Pal Singh and Harshit Agarwal (Directors & Co-founders) inaugurated the event by giving a warm welcome speech and inviting everyone to begin with the celebrations. On this cold winter day, a bonfire was arranged to keep comfortable on the rooftop where party was organized. It started with light snacks and speech by the host which was an amazing poem on love and life.

Since the month-end was also approaching, so birthday celebrations for the last month with cake-cutting and distributing of gifts followed. After that, Mr. Shri Pal Singh and Harshit Agarwal passed their best wishes for the New Year to everyone with a small poetry written by them, which was worth the effort made on their parts as leaders of the company.
The company also decided to award recognition to employees from each team who made extra efforts by thinking out-of-the-box for each project and making it a success by adding immensely to the team efforts.

While enjoying the snacks and laughter, each employee had their time on stage for sharing jokes, poetry, shayari, songs and dance. The support and enthusiasm shown by employees made the scene joyful and filled with loads of energy. One could actually see the hidden talents in each employee that made the evening so exciting that no one wished to end the party.

Games like “passing the parcel” and “balloon dance” got everyone’s spirits high and the quest to win the game saw everyone’s true participation. The winners were awarded with amazing prizes and a special dinner was arranged for everyone to enjoy and share the happiness, leaving behind bitterness of last year and taking forward only the good memories with them.
