The Festival, Diwali popularly known as the “festival of lights,” is a festival celebrated between mid-October and mid-November for different reasons. Diwali is one of the most important festivals of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes.

We had fabulous Diwali celebration in our office this year. Events were organized by our cultural committee. Prizes for “Best decorated cubicle”, “Laughter competition”, “Best remix Song”,” Ethnic dress walk “which acted as catalyst in raising the festive mood of Diwali. All the team members participated with great enthusiasm in decorating the floor with beautiful vibrant flowers, diyas, rangoli, alpana, electronic lights to live up to the vibrant mood of Diwali. All Female employees dressed up traditionally in their gorgeous outfits, competing each other in a happy spirit, men well dressed in Kurtas (The Traditional Indian Dress). We had refreshments at the end of competition.

Prize distribution for the winners along with Diwali Gifts to everyone was performed by our Directors and they both addressed the employees and passed their well wishes to everyone and everyone’s families.

Last but not the least was the cracker burning session. The aura which hung around was simply charismatic. You really have to see it to believe the euphoria that comes at the end of the event, and the kind of commitment and effort that goes into getting this done.
